International Diploma In Montessori Pedagogy

The National Nursery Montessori in affiliation with MCI – London offers the internationally recognised and acclaimed diploma in the early childhood education. Whether you are a teacher or a prospective Montessori teacher or simply a parent eager to know more about your child's education - the training course aims to develop a high level of professional competence to work with and care for children from 2½ to 6 years of age.  

The courses cover the following subjects:

  • Educational philosophies and theories
  • Montessori philosophy and approach
  • Child Development and Developmental Psychology
  • Montessori didactic materials and teaching aids
  • Preparing and delivering a balanced curriculum
  • Observation and Assessment
  • Classroom Management

The Course includes theoretical and practical early childhood subjects with written and practical examinations as well as Teaching Practice for a minimum of 420 hours.

The course is offered in both ENGLISH and ARABIC Languages with supporting Montessori materials and examinations.  

Examinations

Examinations are set by the Montessori Board of Examiners (MBE) – London, which is an independent and external board of examiners. Examinations are held at the end of successful completion of all course work marked by MCI.  

Entry requirements

Applicants must have High School certification or equivalent in Arabic or the English language.  

Post Graduate Studies

After acquiring the International Diploma In Montessori Pedagogy, candidates can advance further to acquire higher degrees in Education and other areas related to Early Childhood Education  

Early Childhood Trainer's Course : An Internationally recognized career development course for Montessori Teacher Trainer.

Post Graduate Studies: Foundation Degree (FDA ‐ Montessori Early Childhood Practice) in partnership with the London Metropolitan University aims towards a full BA (Hons) Degree in Early Childhood Studies. Graduates will have opportunities to progress towards the Early Years Professional Status (EYPS) and Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) programmes.
